Purchases made through the Internet on our e-commerce site www.lemadamefirenze.com are governed by Italian law and by the present terms and conditions indicated on this site under ‘Terms and Conditions’. Any dispute regarding the conclusion, interpretation or execution of a sale stipulated through the e-commerce LEMADAME Firenze, shall be deferred to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Italian judicial authorities.

The articles offered through this website are available for sale on the national and international territory. Depending on the country/zone of origin of the order, the relevant purchase price will be specified, including any taxes. We reserve the right not to process an order received from countries/areas where, temporarily or permanently, we are unable to ship the requested products. In this case you will receive specific notification by e-mail and a full refund of your order including shipping costs. Although we make every effort to ensure that all prices and details appearing on the website are correct, errors may occur. If we find errors in the price of the items you have ordered, we will promptly inform you by requesting your confirmation to proceed with your order at the correct price. Due to the handcrafted nature of the product and the natural materials used, product images may differ slightly from the product you will receive. Natural characteristics such as grain, texture, knots, scratches as well as colour variations should therefore not be construed as imperfections or defects. On the contrary, lack of uniformity due to the above-mentioned conditions must be expected and appreciated and treated as a characteristic of uniqueness of the product itself.
During the order process, you will be provided with summary information on product characteristics, price, shipping costs, delivery and payment methods. Once you have selected the items you wish to purchase, they will be added to your shopping cart. The next step will involve the completion of your order and its payment. To do this, you will have to follow the purchase instructions, entering and verifying the required information in each step of the purchase process. You can pay by credit card and via Paypal. We reserve the right to remove any product from this website at any time and/or to delete or modify any material or content thereof. Whilst we will always endeavour to fulfil all orders, exceptional circumstances may arise which require us to refuse to process orders after we have sent you our Order Confirmation and we reserve the right to do so at any time. We accept no liability to you or any third party for the removal of any product from this website, for the deletion or modification of any material or content on the website, or for any failure to process your order after the Order Confirmation has been sent.
All orders are subject to availability. Without prejudice to the foregoing and except in the event of extraordinary circumstances, we undertake to use our best endeavours to dispatch the order of the product(s) indicated in the relevant Dispatch Confirmation within the date specified in such Dispatch Confirmation, or, if no delivery date is specified, within the estimated delivery time at the time of selection of the delivery method and, in any event, within the maximum legal term (art. 61 of the Consumer Code) of 30 days from the date of the Order Confirmation. However, delays may occur for various reasons such as the customisation of the products, the occurrence of unforeseen circumstances or the delivery area. If for any reason we are unable to meet the delivery date, we will inform you and give you the options of continuing your purchase by setting a new delivery date, or cancelling your order, resulting in a refund of the full amount paid, or replacing your product with a product of the same quality and value as the one you ordered which is currently available. For the purposes of these Terms and Conditions, “delivery” shall be deemed to have taken place, i.e. the order shall be deemed to have been “delivered” when you or a third party indicated by you have acquired the material availability or otherwise control of the products, which shall be evidenced by signing the delivery receipt to the shipping company. Transport costs will be explicitly indicated at the time of purchase. Materia Prima undertakes, as the user’s agent, to entrust the shipment to a designated company, taking into account the conditions applied by the carrier.
If we are unable to complete the delivery of your order, it will be returned to our warehouse. You may in any case contact us at info@lemadamefirenze.it to arrange a new collection. After 30 days from the new agreed date and if no collection is made, we will assume that you wish to withdraw from the contract. As a consequence of the cancellation, we will refund the amount paid by you, excluding any additional costs arising from the return of the product to our warehouse and from your choice of shipping methods other than the standard one offered by us. Please note that termination of the contract may entail additional costs that will be borne by you.
In accordance with current legislation, any purchase made through the website will be subject to Value Added Tax (VAT), which you will find included in the vis price. With the exception of territories excluded from this obligation, in accordance with Directive 2006/112/EC.

For technological reasons Materia Prima srl cannot guarantee that the display of colours on the screen of devices used to access its website will always be accurate, complete and up-to-date. Marginal differences between the description of the product on the website and the actual characteristics of the product itself will not be considered as a cause of non-conformity of the product for the purposes of the order as already fully described in point 4. of these Conditions. Any lack of conformity of the products received must be notified to LEMADAME Firenze C/o Materia Prima srl within the term of 14 days from delivery, by written notice to info@lemadamefirenze.it or to info@materiaprima.srl. Materia Prima srl will then contact the user to agree on the sending of the product. The mere receipt of the products by Lemadame Firenze after the activation of the above procedure does not imply, in any way, the recognition by Lemadame Firenze of a lack of conformity of the products, since an accurate verification by the Management is necessary. The action aimed at asserting hidden defects is prescribed, in any case, within 14 days from the receipt of the product. Notwithstanding the foregoing, damage caused by mistreatment of the products, misuse, accidents, water, solvents, wear and tear, damage caused by carriers and, in any case, damage resulting from third-party factors and not attributable to conformity defects in the products shall not be recognised. Once received, we will carefully examine the returned product and notify you by e-mail, within a reasonable period of time, whether we will refund or replace the product (as the case may be). The refund and/or replacement of the item will be made as soon as possible and, in any event, within 14 days of us sending you an e-mail confirming that we will proceed with the refund or replacement of the unsuitable item.
You have the right to withdraw from the Contract within a period of 14 days. The withdrawal period shall end after 14 days from the day on which you, or a third party other than the carrier and designated by you, acquires physical possession of the goods or, in the case of multiple goods ordered in one order and delivered separately, shall end after 14 days from the day on which you or a third party other than the carrier and designated by you acquires physical possession of the last good. In order to exercise your right of withdrawal, you must inform us by writing to LeMadame c/o Materia Prima srl, via Lazio 42, 51018 Pieve a Nievole (PT) or by sending an e-mail to materiaprima.srl@pec.it and then informing us of your decision to withdraw from the Contract by means of an explicit declaration (e.g. letter sent by post or e-mail). In order to comply with the withdrawal period, it is sufficient for you to send the communication concerning the exercise of the right of withdrawal before the expiry of the withdrawal period.
If you withdraw from the Contract, you shall be refunded all payments you have made to us, without undue delay and in any event no later than 14 days after the day on which we have been informed of your decision to withdraw from the Contract. We shall bear the cost of shipping the package only if the product received shows manufacturing defects/non-conformity (as per p.9 ‘Conformity’). In all other cases, you shall bear the costs. These refunds will be made using the same means of payment that you used for the initial transaction. In any event, you will not incur any costs as a consequence of such a refund. Notwithstanding the foregoing, the refund may be suspended until receipt of the goods. Returned products must be packed in their original packaging in order to prevent the goods from deteriorating at their destination. Only in the event that the original packaging is unusable, an equivalent packaging (at the purchaser’s expense) in terms of size and strength may be used. Shipments of returns made in any other manner than as indicated above will not be accepted. Once the return has reached its destination, Materia Prima srl’s management will check the legitimacy of the return and, after checking the correctness of the operations, will send the user a confirmation e-mail. Re-crediting will normally take place within 14 days from the latest between the time Materia Prima was informed of the withdrawal and the time Materia Prima received the return, which is in conformity. The purchaser shall be held liable for any decrease in the value of the goods resulting from handling the goods other than what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods. You may not invoke your right to withdraw from the Contract in respect of the supply of one or more of the following products:
Your right to withdraw from the Contract shall apply exclusively to those products returned in the same condition in which you received them. No refunds will be made if the product has been used beyond simply being opened and for products that are not in the same condition as they were delivered or if they have been damaged: we therefore invite you to take care of the products as long as they are in your availability and possession. Please return the item using or including the original packaging, instructions and other documents, if any, accompanying the products. In any case, you will have to return the product together with the delivery note received upon delivery of the product.
